Ok. I am late in posting this, really late, in fact. I already went on vacation. I was in Honolulu for a couple days for my brothers graduation. Then I went to Kauai for 2 days.
I did learn one very important thing though by visiting Kauai. I don’t belong on the mainland, I belong on Kauai. No matter how SLOW the island is, it is my home.
It was good to be back, and it was the first time in a very long time that I was able to feel alive and like life was worth more than just the rat race that I have been in.
It is unfortunate that I have to stay away for years to come, only returning for vacation. Between paying off my debt and preparing for law school I have at least 8 years left here on the mainland.
I was left with the following questions as I left Kauai that I am still trying to answer:
- how do you tell someone you haven’t seen in quite a while that you still have feelings for them?
- when is the right time to tell them?
- what happens after death? (and “you go to heaven or hell” doesn’t count, I am not looking for a religious answer, I am looking for THE answer)
OH, Transformers looks awesome, and Shrek the Third was funny!
